Fireside Fourth for July – Sunset Drinks at the Manhattan Yacht Club Clubhouse
We are returning to The Honorable William Wall (for photos and additional information go to www.willywall.com) is the floating clubhouse of the Manhattan Yacht Club. It is a 90 ft steel barge with an open-air upper deck. This Clubhouse is anchored in New York harbor just north of Ellis Island. This is the best view in the harbor for watching the sailboat races. Manhattan Yacht Club opened the upper deck its clubhouse to the public beginning in 2012 (the downstairs Champagne Bar is still private to Members only).
Most Rotarians and friends will take the 5:45 pm (i.e take the Liberty Landing Ferry ‘Little Lady’ from the World Financial Center at 5:45 pm, http://www.libertylandingferry.com/) launch but feel free to go earlier or later. Please note: there is no food sold in the club house – but you can bring any food that you like.
EVENT SOLD OUT
[You must make sure to get your launch tickets at www.willywall.com/tickets ($20) and -purely informational- please email to firstname.lastname@example.org once you have registered.]
