Gift of Life both brings children to the US for life-saving heart surgeries that they could not get in their own country, as well as organizes clinics in other countries that could perform the surguries much less expensively so as to help more children world-wide.

We actively support the District 7230 Gift of Life organization, as well as the forming Gift of Life International organization. 

In 2004, we hosted a boy, Patricio, from Ecuador, who had a successful lifesaving surgery at the Montefiore Children's Hospital in the Bronx.  We hope to host more children in the future, and have lent support with translation services and transportation services to other clubs hosting children.

John sits on the District 7230 Gift of Life Board.

Around each Valentines Day, we try to send a contingent of people to the District 7230 Gift of Life Fundraising Gala in Tarrytown.
