Infant Tetanus Prevention |

Partner with UNICEF in a project to prevent infants and their mothers from contracting this painful and fatal disease.

Our focus country for this effort is Vietnam. We are working to raise $200,000 to address maternal and neonatal tetanus prevention needs world-wide. The money will be used to buy and administer the tetatnus vaccine to women of child-bearing age, and to buy and distribute safe-birthing kits. Babies born to women who have reveived the vaccine are protected for up to 3 months after birth (after which they enter a childhood immunization program).
