Club Meeting – Robert G. Cucinell, Chairman, District 7230 Rotary Foundation Committee
Part 2 of 2 (Part 1 was on April 27). Rotarians and other contributors help change the world through Foundation grants and programs. These allow to realize Rotary’s humanitarian mission throughout the world, including its number-one goal of eradicating polio. Key purposes of the Foundation include PolioPlus, Humanitarian Grants Program (Disaster Recovery, District Simplified Grants, Health, Hunger and Humanity (3-H) Grants, Matching Grants), Educational Programs (Ambassadorial Scholarships, Group Study Exchange (GSE), Rotary Peace Fellowships). Bob will introduce us in details to these programs and our district’s involvement.
We meet 7:15pm for 7:30pm at Trattoria Dopo Teatro. 125 West 44th Street (between 6th and 7th Avenues).
