Isabel Gehweiler was born in Germany into a family of musicians in 1988 and started learning the violin at the age of three. She changed to the cello when she was six. As a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar, she is currently studying under Prof. Richard Aaron at the Juilliard School of Music, New York. She will also play at the New Generations Luncheon in New York on February 23 in the presence of Rotary International President Ray Klinginsmith.
