There is a $20 mandatory (tax deductible) donation that helps cover the cost of supplies for the day, as well as funding for the other projects that occur throughout the year at New York Cares.
Dear Rotarians and Friends,
Only a few days left for sign up for Hands on New York Day and we want your help!
Our united Team of :Rotary, Rotaract and friends will be working at the Riverside Valley Community Garden (aka Jenny's Garden) located at 137th and Riverside - only one block from the 1 train - on Saturday, April 24th (a link to a map of the site is at the end of this message).
We will be working with Jenny's daughter, Victoria on the 24th.
The event will run from around 9am to 3pm.
This is a great way to do some good in our community and socialize with your fellow Rotarians, Rotaracters and friends!
We can't wait to see you there!!
