Our guest speaker will be Ms. Claudia Maffettone, Youth Outreach Coordinator and New York contact person for BluMail. Claudia is responsible for the promotion of BluMail among youth around the world and to that end has fostered partnerships with UN offices and NY based NGOs. BluMail.org is a global email, education, networking, jobs, entrepreneurship and activism portal for millions who will be coming online in developing countries. BluMail exposes users to educational, mentorship, employment, and entrepreneurship opportunities through its many action features and website tools, such as: mentor to mentee matching, daily educational message to cell phones and email accounts, Read / Share A Story networking platform for intercultural understanding, etc. Established as an alliance of 100 among NGOs, private sector and United Nations organizations, BluMail now includes: the UN Foundation, UN Foundation, the UN Fund for International Partnerships, UNIFEM, GAID, 2015 Millennium Campaign, UN DPI NGO, and the Alliance of Civilizations, and a number of international NGOs.
