Please help us to support the Yorkville Common Pantry with FOOD and CLOTHES donations.
Over the past few months we have witnessed that more and more people need the help of the pantry, yet supplies and donations at the pantry are becoming more and more scarce. This has led to the idea to organize a project to support the pantry and thus the City of New York in conjunction with RI UN Day. We believe that we and the 800+ Rotarians attending Rotary UN Day can make a big difference for the people of New York City. We have worked with the organizers of RI UN Day as well as the people at the UN to make this project possible. Now we need your help to make it a a big success.

The pantry is in desperate need of canned/boxed food and winter cloths. Thus, we are asking that each attendee bring one or more items to Rotary UN Day - whether it be a can of yam, sweet potatoes, gravy,veggie; a box of cake mix, instant mash; or a warm sweater, shirt, coat etc. If you prefer to make a donation, we ask that you make the check payable to "Yorkville Common Pantry" and bring the check with you to the RI UN Day.
We, the Rotary Club of Metro New York City, will be collecting all items from attendees BEFORE they enter the UN premises. 
We will be delivering all donations to the pantry the morning of RI UN Day and we will be providing a report to attendees before the close of RI UN Day.
